Vaccinations provide protection against serious illnesses. Recent news that the virus which causes polio has been detected in London shows these illnesses are still around. The risk is low but it is very important to make sure your child is up to date with their vaccinations.
Check your child’s red book or contact your GP if you don’t think your child has had all their vaccinations. You can find out more about which vaccines are given to children here.
