Western Avenue Surgery will close on 30 September 2022

16 August 2022
Dr B Sinha is retiring from the surgery after many years of valuable service to the NHS. As a result, the practice contract will be terminated and the practice will close on 30 September 2022.

If you are a patient at Western Avenue surgery, you can register with a new GP of your choice near to where you live. To find a surgery near you, visit the NHS services directory.

To register you should contact the surgery or practice to ask them to register you. The NHS services directory also gives information about the practices, including opening hours and patient rating and reviews results.

If you do not register with a practice by 30 September 2022 we will register you at a practice close to where you live.

We wish Dr Sinha all the best in his retirement. Here is his message to all patients at Western Avenue Surgery:

"This has not been an easy decision for me, as caring for my patients has been a great source of satisfaction and a pleasure over these many years. I have very much enjoyed being your GP, in most cases for very many years. I wish you the very best of health and good fortune in the future. I suggest you arrange to register yourself under the care of another local GP practice as soon as possible. I would like to thank everyone for patient support over the years."
