Under National Choice Rules providers of consultant led services that meet the definition of patient choice have a right to a contract if they can pass the Integrated Care Boards’ (ICB) accreditation process.
When a provider approaches NHS North West London seeking a contract to provide health care services to which patient choice applies, commissioners will need to assess whether the provider is qualified to offer the services.
Providers can seek accreditation at any time. To comply with this requirement, NHS North West London have developed a qualifying criteria process for providers to seek accreditation.
Please email nhsnwl.patientchoiceaccreditation@nhs.net to express your interest in becoming an accredited provider.
