In response to the Omicron epidemic and the government’s commitment to deliver booster vaccines to all adults by the end of December 2021, North West London GOLD and Hammersmith and Fulham ICP has agreed to consolidate Parsons Green Walk in Centre and St Charles Urgent Care Centre, effective from Monday 20 December 2021.
This will ensure continued services to help keep our local population out of hospital 7 days per week and will enable us to continue to support Chelsea and Westminster Hospital through the redirect pilot at St Charles, whilst also enhancing service resilience. Patients are able to refererred for pre-book appointments at St Charles via their GP, 111 and also book direct by calling 020 8102 5111. There are no walk-in appointments available.
Whilst we are stepping down the bookable appointments at Parsons Green, we will provide 3x half day dressings clinics at Parsons Green on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays to prevent our local population needing to go into hospital or primary care for dressing changes.
We will continue to run a weekend bookable service at Soho Walk in Centre whilst staffing levels allow. Patients in North West London (registered and unregistered) will be able to access the service via a referral from 111 or via self-referral by telephone on 020 7534 6500. The clinic will offer booked face-to-face and virtual appointments and will operate its service on Saturday and Sunday, 10.00am - 4.00pm. There are no walk-in appointments available.
These arrangements will be reviewed again in the New Year, in accordance with the status of the booster programme and number of Covid cases.
