Inequalities in health across North West London will be tackled with renewed vigour and determination through the new Integrated Care System (ICS) which became a statutory partnership on 1st July.
A national survey recently carried out by the NHS Confederation’s BME Leadership network, says that more than half of senior health leaders from black and minority ethnic (BME) backgrounds are considering leaving the NHS because of their experience of racism at work. Our Race Equality Steering Group (launching on 8th July) is determined to address this inequity.
Local residents are invited to attend the first meeting of the NHS North West London Integrated Care Board meeting in public to be held on 1 July 2022 from 8.30 to 9.30am.
All integrated care boards are required to produce a public involvement strategy. Our strategy has been co-designed over the last three years in partnership with local residents. We are now publishing the draft strategy for feedback before it is ratified by the Integrated Care Board
