COVID-19 vaccination for Spring 2024
You can now book your Spring 2024 COVID-19 booster.
Eligible patients can book a COVID-19 vaccination between 22 April - 30 June 2024, using the national booking system or one of our walk-in services listed in 'where to get your vaccination' below.
Who is eligible for COVID-19 vaccination
- adults aged 75 years and over
- residents in care homes for older adults
- individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the Green Book, chapter 14a; tables 3 and 4)
Vaccine testing and safety
All COVID-19 vaccinations offered by the NHS have been advised for use in this campaign by experts in JCVI.
All COVID-19 vaccinations have been tested in line with rigorous standards and found to give good protection against the virus. The new BA.2.86 ‘pirola’ COVID-19 variant presents a greater risk now, which is why the NHS is encouraging all eligible people to get their vaccines as soon as they can.
