Primary Care access event briefing

31 March 2025

Primary care access engagement events – 6 February 2025
The primary care access engagement events provided a platform to share early findings from the Primary Care Network GP Access Survey and engagement activities. The day included a face-to-face session held in Brent, followed by an online event in the evening. The aim of both events was to support transparency and get feedback on the emerging findings from the survey and how to best present these in a final report, to be published in April 2025.

Co-chaired by Dr Penny Dash (Chair, NW London ICB) and Rob Hurd (Chief Executive, NW London ICB), the events featured presentations from Dr Vijay Tailor, Hilary Tovey, and Dr Genevieve Small. This was followed by Q&A discussion, supported by roundtable discussions for the in-person event, and the online chat for the virtual event.

In total 60 people attended the face-to-face engagement event, while 92 people attended the online event. Participants included healthcare professionals, patient representatives, and local residents. Attendees raised thoughtful questions and shared valuable feedback on improving access to primary care services.
