This spring you should protect yourself with a COVID-19 vaccination, if you are:
- 75 and over
- a resident in a care home for older adults
- or 6 months and older and have a condition that means you are immunosuppressed (not sure if this is you - see tables 3 and 4 of the Greenbook chapter 14a).
COVID-19 is serious at any time of the year, especially for those who are most vulnerable.
For this group it is recommended that you have two vaccinations a year – one every six months for the best protection.
This spring’s COVID-19 vaccination offer is free and runs from Tuesday 1 April and Tuesday 17 June 2025.
You can book a vaccine online using the national booking system (NBS) or visit one of our walk-in sites listed below from Tuesday 1 April 2025.

A message from Komal Patel, North West London COVID-19 Programme Lead:
“Vaccination is our first line of defence against preventable illness. As we continue to address COVID-19, it's crucial to take advantage of every opportunity to protect ourselves, particularly those who are most vulnerable. For high-risk groups, getting vaccinated this spring is a vital step in reducing the risk of severe illness and helping to protect our communities”.
