This Refugee Week, colleagues from our involvement team have joined voluntary and community groups to celebrate our communities as a superpower.
On Monday we had the pleasure of attending a celebration at St Luke’s Church in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We joined the Refugee Response team and other VCS groups in celebrating the contributions and resilience of refugees and those seeking asylum. Local resident's took part in a special performance and we talked to the community about health and care. Pictured Vivian from Refugee Support who runs weekly support cafes.
At another event to celebrate the week, the Centre for Armenian Information and Advice brought together existing and newly arrived residents to make them feel welcome and raise awareness of health and support.
