We have had a great response to our survey asking for your views on the draft health and care strategy for North West London. Over 800 people have returned our survey and many more have discussed it in local meetings. The draft plan is being discussed at the Health and Wellbeing Boards of each borough – this is where local councillors and the NHS discuss and plan health services for their area. We have also used local community networks and social media to push out the draft strategy to as many people as possible.

Hillingdon, Northwick Park, Ealing and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals have all received Government funding for new discharge lounges to help cut A&E waiting times.
Health issues related to the current warm weather are causing our A&Es to be busier than usual, with waits of up to 11 hours in A&Es at the moment.
A&E is for life threatening emergencies. There are lots of NHS services that can help you. Knowing where to go, and when, will help you get the right care when you need it.
