Health services on Bank Holiday Monday, 19 September 2022

Due to the funeral of Her Majesty The Queen, Monday has been declared a bank holiday. As on every bank holiday, hospitals across North West London will continue to operate. Urgent and emergency care will continue to operate as normal in all our hospitals and in an emergency, patients should continue to dial 999. Western Eye Hospital to be expanded alongside building improvements to enable full reopening

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust have given the go ahead to a major £9m building project at the Western Eye Hospital. It will allow us to reopen the hospital fully next spring, with additional operating capacity to help tackle the waiting list backlog created by the Covid-19 pandemic.
