Care Covenant Project

The Care Leavers Covenants Project which began in March 2023 is a national inclusion programme, funded through NHS England delivered in collaboration with Diversity & Inclusion specialists, Spectra.

Our aim is to provide support for Care Leavers between the ages of 16-25 to live and work independently.

The NW London ICS is focused on creating a Recruitment Process where support is provided before during and after a lived experienced individual has been placed into a role within health & social care. We will be looking at different opportunities within the NHS which include work experience, insight days, entry level roles and apprenticeships.  Our goal is to explore the issues faced around recruitment and develop new processes which will enable a better recruitment experience for a lived experienced individual who may need that extra support.
