HESA Medical Centre procurement

The contract that currently provides GP services at HESA Medical Centre, in Hayes, Hillingdon is coming to an end.

GPs are not directly employed by the NHS. This has been the case since the NHS began.  They are independently contracted and when a contract comes to an end the local NHS follows the appropriate process to put a new contract in place.

The contract, currently managed by Dr Nasir, Dr Mubarik and Dr Nasir initially ended on 30 June 2023.  An extension of the current contract has been granted until 31 March 2024 to ensure the continuity of primary care services for those registered at HESA Medical Centre whilst NW London run a procurement to award a new contract at the centre.

We have written to all patients registered at the centre to inform of them of the contract ending and advise that they do not need to do anything in relation to their current service provision.

We have created a survey where you can input your views on the future contract: https://bit.ly/44TJOoG and/or attend the following information sessions where you can learn more about the process and put forward ideas and suggestions to improve the services at HESA Medical Centre:
