The NW London Integrated Care System (ICS) Race Equality Steering Group (RESG) was established in July 2022 to provide a strategic platform in bringing the structural racism conversation to the forefront of decision making in regard to service provision and health outcomes.
The Steering Group is co-chaired by Rob Hurd, Integrated Care Board (ICB) CEO and Linda Jackson, Executive Director of Local Authority.
The membership represents community groups, voluntary sector organisations and academia.
The RESG report directly into the NWL ICS Proactive Population Health and Inequalities Board and provide a progress report at its six weekly meeting.
The SRSG board also provide regular updates to the NWL ICS Peoples Board to ensure alignment and prioritisation.
