NHS North West London staff have a legal requirement to declare any outside interests we have that could be perceived as having a potential influence on our decision making or judgment.
All staff must make a declaration of interest yearly or when they have a new interest to declare. Decision-makers/committee members are required to have an up-to-date declaration of interest registered twice a year (for the previous financial year)
These are declarations are made on a portal called 'Declare'
Our Conflict of Interest Registers are designed to ensure that all potential conflicts are identified, managed, and recorded appropriately. This helps us uphold the trust placed in us by our patients, partners, and the public.
