Redcliffe Surgery to relocate to Violet Melchett Health and Wellbeing Hub

On Monday 16 January 2022, the Redcliffe Surgery in Kensington and Chelsea will move to new modern facilities within the borough which will allow it to offer a wide range of integrated GP and community and wellbeing services within one building.

The Redcliffe Surgery, 10 Redcliffe Street, London, SW10 9DT will be relocating on a permanent basis and changing their name to Health Partners at Violet Melchett. The new address is Health Partners at Violet Melchett,Violet Melchett Health and Wellbeing Hub, 30 Flood Walk, Chelsea SW3 5RR.

In addition to the main site at Violet Melchett, the practice will operate across two satellite sites: at 1A Chelsea Manor Street SW3 5RP (50 metres from Violet Melchett) and the Earls Court Health and Wellbeing Centre located at 2b Hogarth Road, SW5 0PT.  The current premises will not be in use after Friday 13 January 2023.

Dr Fiona Butler, GP partner at the practice said: “The move is a special occasion for us as it marks the culmination of many years of hard work and I would like to thank the practice patients, our patient participation group, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for their support. 

“The practice will be part of Violet Melchett Health and Wellbeing Hub and it will allow us to offer an increased range of integrated GP, community and wellbeing services within one building. These services include social prescription, services promoting wellbeing, specialist weight management, podiatry, and mental health support.

“The vision is that patients will make fewer visits to different locations to see health professionals as they will be all on one site and we will be able to arrange appointments for the same time. Also, care will be provided in new modern facilities designed to the latest standards, and fully accessible for the disabled.”

There are a variety of buses available in the area: 11,19, 22, 211, 319, 49, 170. The stop Chelsea Old Town Hall is only a 3min walk distance from the new location.
