NHS North West London ICB will consider the future of GP services for patients formerly registered at Acton Town Medical Centre and Ground Floor Lanark Medical Centre at its meeting in public from 12.30 to 2pm on Thursday 15 January 2026.
Both practices have been operating under temporary caretaker arrangements since their contracts ended in 2025, ensuring patients continue to receive GP care.
The ICB is recommending dispersal of the remaining patient lists at both practices. Most patients have already chosen and registered with other local GP surgeries, and assessments show sufficient capacity in neighbouring practices to support those still registered.
If the recommendations are approved, the caretaker practices will continue to provide GP services while remaining patients are supported to register elsewhere. Vulnerable patients will receive additional help to ensure continuity of care.
Further information will be shared with affected patients following the meeting.
